The blog has been quiet for several weeks, as I have been working hard on two fronts. One is this pesky day job, which pays the bills. The other is recovering from minor surgery. That part is almost complete. The day job continues until I strike it rich with authoring or until my retirement piggy becomes large enough.
I have been working on updates to the first Book of Loukas, and also sketching out chapters in books 2 and 3, which I need to have available in case the masses are enthused and impressed by Book 1.
I have also been further developing parts of my futuristic novel collection, which has the working title of The New Society. I doubt that this will be the final name, there is a much better name for it, I just haven’t discovered it yet. I intend to put some sample vignettes up on the site soon from one of the books in the series.
I have a line to a lady who I hope can work with me on book covers, so I have a professional cover for Books of Loukas, but one that does not drop into the cliche-land of “male fashion model with 6-pack abs holding gym-fit girl fashion model with medium sized fake boobies”.
In the meantime, I got after Belem about his writing, which has taken a back seat. So Belem is now actually working on a novel, as opposed to a collection of short filth.
