Post-Covid struggles

I’ll be honest. Right now, I am struggling to write.

After I contracted Covid-19 in December, I began to suffer from a number of medical issues that I had never previously suffered from. One of them was panic and anxiety attacks. My PCP put me on medication to address that, which sort of worked. However, I am now in a “dead zone”, where I feel I have Imposter Syndrome.  I have an appointment with a psychiatrist to hopefully begin the process of improving my mental outlook and state.

I am hopefully past the physical issues that I suffered from this Spring while recovering from Covid-19. However, right now, I find writing, at least Hammering, next to impossible. The book characters are not talking to me. So I am focussing on organization, and also on non-fiction, for which I have a good source of data with all of the political shit that is unfolding.

I need to improve my mental and physical health before I can get back to writing prose that will not look like amateur gibberish when I review it the next day.
