New Podcast! Joanna Love Jett interviews Rupert Ramsgate

Guest interviewer Joanna Love Jett stopped by Rupert’s abode 2 weeks ago and interviewed Rupert at length (and we all know the importance of length) for two podcasts.
The sound quality on these podcasts is not the best. I had a level issue with microphones that led to a certain amount of distortion on my audio. I have tried to reduce it as much as possible in post-processing and editing, but there is still some distortion. That’s a lesson learned for future podcast recordings.
The first podcast covers current writing projects, with some riffing on other germane matters such as Covid-19.

The second podcast, to be released in early September, covers more details of the writing process, the messy business of self-promotion, and several other related topics.

  1. Interesting author interview, and I love that Rupert has chosen to include a map for those of us that are visual learners to get a better picture of the geography of places discussed in the writing. Hand drawn or not, it really adds that extra dimension. Looking forward to reading! Does Joanna have a website or podcast of her own, I’d like to hear more about her and her own writing.

    1. Joanna is planning to start her own podcast in the near future. She is part-way through a semi-fictional, semi-autobiographical memoir.
I am going to show some of the maps that I have also created for The New Society.
